I think that what Rémi means is, at least last time I checked, it is
impossible to cancel a libcurl request. So short of setting very low
timeout values, if the connection freezes, your libcurl thread will
freeze too. Also, libcurl keeps polling and waking up every second, and
that's not courmisch compliant.
