If I remember correctly, this was a nice patch, but it didn't do the ts
timing correctly (especially after cuts and changes) because that would
need complete parsing of the stream.

The marketing|PR person inside me says that this is better than
nothing...
The geek inside me understands why we don't integrate this yet.
