Hi all,

Since I didn't yet provide a NEWS item for this, here is:

* New deinterlacer mode Film NTSC (IVTC, inverse telecine) for NTSC
anime DVDs


It's not a purely technical description, but I think something along
these lines is desirable? At least theoretically anime is harder to IVTC
than live-action (due to 8fps/12fps animation, lots of still shots...),
so I think it should be noted that the filter should be able to handle
it. This description also implies that almost all anime DVDs are
hard-telecined, giving a hint for new users.
