[vlc-devel] Hotkeys, action and interfaces?

Hello,

I was wondering why most of the hotkeys code isn't in the core? Notably
the DoAction() part?

Because both Qt and mac interfaces uses
var_SetInteger( p_intf->p_libvlc, "key-action", ACTIONID_* );

Ain't that a bit weird as a design?

PS: not to mention some functions in Qt's input_manager/action_manager
are duplicated at other places or could be useful elsewhere...
