[vlc-devel] Production build settings for VLC

Folks,

When I build vlc locally and run it, I see that mp4 vidoes have jitters in them. However, when I run vlc from the distribution image, there are no jitters. I am thinking I probably need additional options when I run configure script. Can someone please help me with these options? Perhaps these options are also used in nightly non-debug build of vlc.
