Thanks for the record, some remarks:

Last time I was in touch with goom people, they were talking about a new
version of goom, but one year later nothing new:

Last time I checked, every playlist item were leaked, regardless to the
way they are added to the playlist (playlist parser or command line, I'm
not sure about the case where they are added from the open panel).
I didn't took time to investigate it but I think that's a problem with
refcounts (IMHO).
