I meant ability:
 - to get source from tar.gz, tar.bz2, tar.xz, zip, git and svn source
 - to patch conditionnally depending on the host|target
 - to configure conditionnally depending on the host|target
 - to install in the same prefix
 - call of special executables for weird libraries

I would also like:
 - separation of sources and build folders
