 - Videos codec matters?
 - Formats suppport ?
 - Interface ?
 - Device support ?
 - Extra content?

I might suggest libgpod support, porting audio filters from
mplayer/gst/xine to vlc, wtv files or improved asx support, mobiles and
UI
