In the current code, I had made some mistakes causing VLC to crash if
equalizer.xml is called when Equalizer is disabled.
I had misunderstood the var_GetNonEmptyString function.

In the Qt interface, if the EQ is not active, it shows the values from the
config initially. Thats what I've tried to mimic
