THEPL is a Qt4 plugin macro for the playlist.

As said, the playlist is deliberately not available in LibVLC. The playlist 
model was deemed too intricate (and rather buggy as well unfortunately) to 
bother applications with it. It was expected that applications would rather 
maintain their own playlist with whatever model fits each of them best.
