First, I would like to say a huge thanks, because this is a huge work
undertaken.

A few remarks/questions:
 - Do you have a pix, so other people can see it?
 - What are the licenses for ui-lightness and jquery-ui-1.8.13.custom.css?
 - Same for jstree?
 - What is the status of vlm and mosaic wizard aftewards (just curious)
 - Your code remove functionnalities added lately to the xml requests
   interface, as Akash pointed, this is wrong, IMVHO.
 - Are the pngs crushed?
