[vlc-devel] rtsp-http-port disabled in web plugin

The reason why it's needed is because of this scenario:

Say I'm an IT admin at a major university. We have a server that streams
content over the web, and we want to use rtsp over http because udp packets
are blocked, etc. Also, port 80 is already in use for an Apache server, so I
CAN'T use port 80. I want to use a different port.

The Windows VLC player allows me to set the port to something else, but the
plugin doesn't. We prefer the plugin because we have control over the client
and our users can't change settings that would generate UDP packets (and
thus be blocked).

There are other scenarios as well, but this one should cover it.

Please, I BEG YOU, please enable this feature in the plugin.

Thanks,

John
