How did you install it?

At least on my build environment for Mac OS X, I have no problem with
latest live555 2011.11.08 1320710400. I build live555 library from
source using Makefile under extras/contrib.

IMHO, liveMedia_versions.hh on your environment is missing or placed
at wrong place or old.
