[vlc-devel] Do I need "samplerate" library for VLC?

Kaarlo,

Thank you for your help.

When I play a movie through VLC, the audio seems to be fine even without libsamplerate.In your opinion, would I get a better audio quality by using libsamplerate?

There won't be a libsamplerate based audio resample module.
