Running (the 2.0 version)
vlc --help|less
with a locale having the messages translated (fr will do) shows the very
start of the help messages in English.
This commit fixed it for trunk

I did not mention the commit message:
l10n: Use translations of help messages
Can I have a backport or a hint what to improve if I am missing something?
