I'm pretty sure we already dealt with this problem, as vlc 1.1 was
building on both Solaris 10 x86 & Sparc w/sun studio.

You have to change branch to solaris-vlc-1.1 before trying to build. The
master branch is not updated because it requires too recent packages to
build. We'll need to focuse on another target (S11, OI...) to make > 1.1
builds.

Unfortunately, since we have no longer access to the T1 based system
provided by Sun which was great help, I had no willingness to spend time
to test later versions on my own slow/really old sparc.
