[vlc-devel] Embedded Linux with VLC

Folks,

I need to build an embedded Linux system that runs VLC. The primary purpose of this box will be to play mp4 files over hdmi.


When I googled for "embedded Linux vlc," There were a couple of references to buildroot but they didn't lead me anywhere. 


I would appreciate it if you can share any useful information or links for building an embeeded Linux system around VLC.
