OSX has an important marketshare and cannot be dropped. But it is crap
in MANY ways, and don't get me started on the SDK parts...
Android does not implement POSIX correctly and everytime we compile for
Android we patch it like crazy to fix it.

Still, patching VLC should be done correctly, and not using many ifdefs
around, because this is hard to maintain afterwards.
