I have downloaded VLC 1.1.13.  I test it using video files of different format.  After testing I meet two bugs:
(1) When playing TS MPEG4 video files, it cannot read out the total length in seconds of the video.  But

playing is OK.
(2)When playing WMV video files downloaded from WEB,  it  doesn't control time control bar correctly.
I  drag time progress bar to 9s to let vlc play from  9s,  but vlc always starts playing from the beginning.
I think these are bugs. Will they be fixed in future VLC-1.1.x?  And will they be fixed in 1.2.0 or 1.3.0?
I have tested 1.3.0-git, BUG #1 is solved, but Bug#2 still exists.  I use ffplay to play WMV files using -ss parameter,  it handle timecodes not correctly.   Is the problem of ffmpg?  Should I report the bug through ffmpeg website?
