For the record VLC built correctly with this patch (I am not implying
that it is correct though as Rémi had other concerns with it).

Tested on win32, win64, debian sid 32, debian sid 64, osx ppc, osx 32,
osx 64, freebsd8, wince

You can see the change 7d46f04db9e5... on
http://buildbot.videolan.org/grid (the table only shows 5 changes though
so it will disappear soon)


I will post instructions on how to use this new vlc-test.git repository
when altair's load gets lower.
