Sorry, but this approach is wrong while the idea is valid. At first, you're using variables which aren't in the scope of this script and therefore aren't set as needed. It is an absolute requirement to be able to set the SDK version, since 3 different versions are being used for Mac releases at this point.

As laid out by j-b earlier this year (March?), we need to be able to do so at the configure level without the need for an additional script, be it build.sh or configure.sh.

Anyway, I'll push a proper fix to this list later today (I'm spending time on the train once again with varying 3G access).
