in case that you were wondering what this commit series is actually about. I'm the process of re-writing the streaming and transcoding wizard from scratch including a modern, easy-to-use UI. This re-write also makes sense of the presets included in the Qt interface for quite some time and will also enable the user to create as many custom profile as s/he likes.

At present, this re-write is limited to the transcoding-to-file part of the wizard. Of course, the streaming will follow, too.
