[vlc-devel] Enforcing real names?

Hello!

Is there any problem with using nick names if requested by the author?
airplanez [1] was the recent case, but I got another request meanwhile.


-I already use some nicks (or email address only) in AUTHORS.

While this can be fixed by removing this lines (I just don't have any 
more info and did not write a mail so don't know if the addresses are 
still valid), I just don't see the point.


-We have an valid address, so if he writes evil stuff in the 
translations the police can handle it.

-This name is not much less valid than any other given with an email. No 
one ever checked I am Christoph Miebach. I could as well be Maria 
Miebach or someone else.
