[vlc-devel] Why/how VLC is so fast? Especially with MJPEG streams.

Thank you for your fast answer!

I will check FFMPEG/libav and SLD_Image libray. SDL_Image seems to use IGJ
JPEG8 library that should be less faster that libjpeg-turbo, but I will try
it, maybe I'l doing something wrong.

I will also try to use DirectX or XVideo that you right, should be faster
than X11 or GDI.

This show that VLC is really a powerfull player, thank you every one for
this software.
