[vlc-devel] How to trigger one module based on another module?

Folks,

I have developed a custom stream 
filter module. I am building another module that is that is 
very close in functionality to the marquee module. 


What I would like to do is to trigger my custom video filter module each time my stream filter module gets used. I would appreciate your help in understanding how I can achieve this.

Both my modules do not have any visible settings in preferences or other dialogs.
