I read your feedback really closely, if it doesn't compare me to the final product of the food lifecycle and you know that.

For --macosx-sdk, this isn't my war to fight with you though. I don't need that option. I can use configure.sh. It's others who still want it to be there. I just need to be able to disable it. That's it.

Additionally, I fail to see why 20 lines, which existed in slightly diverging implementations since I started to work on this project nine years ago, hinder you actively to maintain configure.ac. In fact, you proved that you can do so by re-writing more than 50 per cent of it.


Anyway, all I wanted to achieve with this thread is a common sense on how to deal with that option. I expected both yours and j-b's opinion. However, I can't suit both of you here. So, please decide. I don't care.
