[vlc-devel] how to play rtsp streaming video using vlc 1.1

Dear Sir,
       How to play RTSP streaming video using VLC 1.1?  I command "vlc rtsp://username:password@IP" to play RTSP streaming video,but it (vlc-1.1.11) can't work.  

       If I use the same command in VLC-2.0.3, VLC works well.
