[vlc-devel] Possible audio visualization regression

With latest version of VLC from git this command line shows audio
visualization as expected:

    src/vlc-git/bin/vlc-static test_audio.mp3 \
    --ignore-config --no-qt-privacy-ask --no-qt-video-autoresize \
    --audio-visual visual --effect-width 640 --effect-height 480 \
    --effect-list scope vlc://quit

However, if one changes few times audio visualizations manually using menu
in GUI, an error occurs: 

[0x884ea00] main audio output error: cannot add user filter none:visual
 (skipped)

Also, if one does not invoke audio visualization from command line directly,
but latter tries to activate it using menu in GUI, same error is shown.

In both cases, that are triggering error message, audio visualization is
not working "any more" / "at all".

If one reverts commit 7bd008c0f8ed895350cc93b8fd28be7532cba85b - "visual:
default is none, not any (fixes #8354)", audio visualization starts to
work again as expected.

Can anyone reproduce this regression?
