[vlc-devel] [PATCH] contrib: use latest sparkle version from git instead of the dated release

Hello,

The attached patch switches the used Sparkle version from the dated release to the current stable git version.

The trivial patch solves a warning which is treated as an error due to our strict compilation flags.

Updating Sparkle will allow us to benefit from some security relevant fixes performed in the meantime and adds the ability to offer binary diffs in addition to full downloads. I intend to test this thoroughly throughout VLC 2.1's beta releases.

On the client side (meaning within VLC.app), there are no changes needed.

Best regards,

Felix
