[vlc-devel] Feature Freeze for RinceWind (2.1.0)

My dear Friends and other Fellow Developers,

I am glad to annouce the feature freeze for VLC 2.1.0, aka RinceWind.

We've come a long way for this version, so let's finish it well :)


This Feature Freeze means that any non-trivial change must go on the
mailing list first, except:
 - strings change and removal until the String Freeze,
 - Audio outputs, if you are the defacto main developer,
 - Interfaces, since both Qt and MacOS ones are in a (very?) sad state,
   and totally not in sync...


We'll split the repos in a couple of weeks, if all goes by the plan.
If in the meantime you really need to push, please use your repo (or ask
us for one) or use vlc-test to test your compilations.
