Maybe I am misunderstanding something here.  A setting exists in the VLC 
equalizer code (that was included in a patch that I submitted in March 
2012) that allows switching back and forth between the VLC bands and the 
ISO bands.  I checked the latest code in 
modules/audio_filter/equalizer.c, and I saw that the VLC bands are still 
used per default.  Are you suggesting that I should change the code so 
that the default is to use the ISO bands?
