[vlc-devel] Ticket #2568- Procedure for getting involved in the development for beginners

hi,
      i am naveen. l am a newbie here in the field of development. I know C
programming and would really love to help in the development. i searched
over and found a ticket #2568 and would really love to work on it. I have
googled about free software development and learned the concept of bug
tracking, tickets, repositories etc. But am not kinda familiar with this
stuff. I would really love to develop the enhancement ie, changing the size
of the subtitles as in ticket #2568 even though i amn't aware of most of
the stuff regarding development. Could you guys please give me a step by
step procedure on what should be done or give me a link or atleast give me
direction on what to do. I would really love to help. I would do anything
to survive here. I want to be a full time developer like most of you.
Please help.
