I think that playlist support was a greater aim for the media list
player, at least from what I can see, no?

I don't see how my patch breaks anything by default? This patch is
very useful if I want some kind of control in my libvlc app where I
want to have something before having libvlc_media_list_player_next
jump automatically, without removing playlist support.
