[vlc-devel] How long can i pause a multicast udp stream in a vlc client

I need to know a figure i.e. for how long can i pause, and be certain that
when i play, i am guaranteed to get the paused content played. Can i modify
this?

Where are the relevant source files and buffer size values which store the
stream while it is paused?
