No the school can't.
However, a student claimed authorship after the deadline of a project 2 
or 3 years ago.
But in our case, we're aware it is an open-source project. We don't want 
to claim any authorship.
If you need some kind of renunciation letter, feel free to ask us. :-)

Yes sure. To be honest I copied the license part on an other lua script.
So I will change to LGPL 2.1.
