[vlc-devel] How to loads VLC quickly

Hi,

My name is Juliano.

I'm a beginner user on VLC.

I'm developing an application Java that executes external applications.

The first time, after the boot of SO, that my application fires the VLC,
there is a delay until VLC to load completely. After this first time, the
VLC loads quickly.

I would like to know how to load the VLC faster?

Currently I fire VLC using this comand: "vlc --play-and-exit video.avi"
