[vlc-devel] How to save "Anaglyph 3D" settings?

Folks,

I want to set VLC such that it uses "Anaglyph 3D" setting all the time. From Tools-->Effect And Filters-->Video Effects->Advanced, one can turn on this setting but it is saved only temporarily. I am thinking maybe I can extend modules/controls/rc.c to control this setting. Would appreciate your feedback on this strategy or if there is a better strategy.
