[vlc-devel] How is determined the total duration of a fragmented MP4?

Hello,

I'm having trouble determining how the mp4 demuxer determines the total
duration of a fragmented MP4. If mvhd, tkhd and mdhd boxes have the
duration set to 0xffffffff where does it get the total duration?
