Shouldn't that be CXXFLAGS ? Or it's not standard among all compilers ?

Of the 3 libs I needed to debug none were using autotools :/

Also I just added this setting to build the libraries locally using
"make .ffmpeg" or "make .ebml". It is not targeted at building
libraries to install for good or to distribute.
