I don't personally care much for either asynchronous decoding or 
frame-by-frame support. So I won't implement the earlier nor fix the 
later. But I would not hold whomever would implement asynchronous 
decoding responsible for fixing frame-by-frame - considering that it 
never worked properly (AFAICT) to begin with.
