[vlc-devel] Memory error when trying to skip forward/backward in fullscreen

Hi all,

Recently I’ve had lots of crashes, consistently, when trying to skip forward *or* backward, if VLC is in fullscreen.

Yesterday, I updated VLC to the latest trunk, then recompiled with ASan support. I’m attaching the output.

This seems to happen on any h.264 video, when watched on full screen. Just start, put the video in fullscreen, and then try to skip forward or backward (default: option+command+left (or right)).

I didn’t manage to debug it much further, but someone more familiarised with the code might know what’s up.

Thank you,

  Filipe

P.S: I can provide more details, if needed.
