We must do our best to play the video on the Chromecast but there are
cases where it will just be impossible, at least because of
insufficient resource. In any case, if the user selects to play
through the Chromecast, playback should go through there. It may not
be watchable at all, but in that case the user can understand that it
just cannot work.

What I mean by not working 100% of the time it's mostly about
resource. Not that it will not attempt to play. In any case there will
be a bottom line transcoding chain to send data to the Chromecast,
maybe at low resolution on mobile, likely something that should be
configurable.
