Thanks, made my day.
GSOH you are clever, no more mountains like Snowden in our way. Anything is
possible. :)

Subject: [vlc-devel] Effective Fork of VLC from Today
Hi,
You're aware this became really hard to push changes into VLC codebase these
days.
Lots of people complaining and fighting internally, occasionally throwing
soap opera dvd cases or plush ponies at some other members.
As a consequence, and just like ffmpeg VS libav, the obvious solution is to
fork the whole codebase.
"VLC" fork will be named "VLD". Because this is the day.
The VLD trademark will be managed by a new non profit Asso named "NemoLAN".
Because Nemo...
Documents are on their way.
And to introduce some fairness in commits approval, an irrevocable rule will
be to resolve any commits conflicts through a fair dice roll basis.
The current infrastructure for git.nemolan.org is hosted on raspberry pi
(hostname hado), which should be enough for few years.
This "NemoLAN" org will be backed ('door' in their own terms) by two US
companies and organizations, whose acronyms mean something like "Neat Secure
Audio" and "Stay Overnight Near Ymca" Pictures. They'll bring in new code on
a regular basis and promised to remove any drm related stuff.
Enjoy this day,
and check your calendar,
François
