[vlc-devel] CUE File Playlist track data gets overwritten when track is played

That is ugly, and it wouldn´t really work. The "wrong" meta data would be 
loaded and visible at least temporarily.

Well, the real question is, how do you know which set of metadata is better? 
Are playlist file meta-data always better than embedded meta-data? If not, 
when? You probably need to "answer" that question before you can come up with 
a solution.
