First, I agree that this doc patch is problematic, but,

If I see correctly in the archives, only you commented once and Wilawar
sent 2 very confusing emails about this.
I told Wilawar several time that until he fixes his mail agent and makes
his point clear, they cannot be followed.
This was said several time on IRC.

So yes, I agree that there is one email comment not taken in account,
but that is not MULTIPLE, nor zero changes taken.
And it is about the comma, in your mail, and should be easy to fix.

Filip and Thomas send a lot of patches to this mailing list and
incorporate the very very large majority of reviews.
They are ones of the only VLC developers who almost send every single
patches they want to push.
And they always change their code, even if they believe their ways are
better.
Notably in this current process where this was reworked a very large
number of times.

So I strongly disagree with your point here.

I don't see why Steve has anything to do in this discussion. This is
total unfair.
