The common FDO spec is not ready, if it ever will be. That does not mean we 
cannot use D-Bus to reach the GNOME and KDE services.

Meanwhile, I fail to see a credible story how using this plugin will get the 
QApp instance in a memory-safe and thread-safe manner, and support qvlc, cvlc, 
Qt4 apps and Qt5 apps all in the same build.
