As stated in the below linked reply these patches are sadly from the wrong
branch, but I am surprised that even the first few entries are considered
dubious.

 - Maybe it helps to provide some deeper rationale in the (now lacking)
   commit-descriptions?

I will manually compared the two branches that I have locally, and then
make sure that only things that are proper solutions ends up on the
mailing-list at a later time (and maybe even format everything differently
so that people do not get this many emails containing just a few diffs).
