Just for completeness, j-b seems to have addressed my stupidity already
in git anyway - but for me "make check" passed (tried again with my
local branch):

as said - you might expect some other test suite to pass in plus - or
it just happened to pass here as I messed to much in my setup; in any
case, Thanks j-b for fixing the POTFILES.in and if I miss anything I
can do to make my tests more thorough to cause less breakage, please
enlighten me.
