[vlc-devel] problem compiling vlc master branch on ubuntu 16.04.1

I found:

so this command solved the lua issue:
:~/codec/vlc-for-linux/vlc$ sudo apt-get install lua5.2-dev
now running ./configure I get
*configure: error: Missing libav or FFmpeg*
I'll keep investigating.
