[vlc-devel] audio visualization plugins' with lookahead?

Hi!
   I'm thinking of porting my log-frequency spectrogram audio
visualization code to VLC but before I bite the bullet I have a
question: my visualization wants to display the spectrogram of the
next ten seconds or so of audio, with current playing time in the
centre of the display. Is this possible with the current plugin
architecture?
